Hi, my trucks windshield wipers have stopped working along with the interior light. I am wondering if switching out some fuses would fix it or is there anything else that might be the issue?

Start by checking the fuses first, after all that is the easiest thing to do.

No wiper or wind shield washer action. Wiper motor and washer pump work when voltage and ground are connected directly to device. (High speed and low speed) Power at plug for wiper motor. Fuse is good relays are good. Continuity in low speed wiper circuit in vehicle, no continuity in high speed wiper circuit in vehicle.

Will no high speed continuity cause motor not to work?

there are two relays under hood for this one for high/lo and other for park. but you also have a GEM module. so get a mechanic to scan it. it may be the module or even switch on steering column. it may also be the relay which is under hood.

Thanks HMAC300. That was helpful. Relays are good. The other symptoms that i did not mention in the first post include; dome light and day running lights go on when key is inserted, dome light remains on for ten minutes even after pulling key out. Door ajar light goes on. These symptoms point to the GEM. Your thoughts?

yes, it could be the GEM module it should show up on a scan though if it is bad. it may have something to do with the other two problems as well.
