Car was running rough and had a check engine light. Code p1305 cylinder misfire clylinder 2. Had a Mechanic replace plugs and he said there was still a check light same code but thiis time it said ignter failure cyl 2 and circuit 2. He replaced coil with igniter. Check light was still on and car was still rough. He checked again and got igniter failure circuit 2 bank 2.He said his diagnostic was older and it would not tell him what cylinder out of the remaing three so he ordered another coil and checked each cylinder 4 6 and 8. Car was still in the same status. He sent that coil back. So I have new plugs and 1 new coil. I took it to another Mechanic and he had same code but this time it said the same thing also but that he also had cylnder 8 not firing or misfiring. What is wrong? I driven the car approximatly 65 miles during this week long escapade and wondering also if you think my catalytic converter is still safe. Thank you so much for your time!
