where is the fuel filter located and how do i replace it and would this cause it to just shut off, not boggin down so much as just shuting off????

tyr cleaning your throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner then check your fuel pressure it may be a bad pump. check onside of frame by gas tank for fuel filter.
