i bought a kia sportage off a guy and he said he had a blow out on the passenger front tire. He said it ripped some wiring loose on that side so he ran new wire from the headlights into the cab for power to the headlights. He also said it needed a new alternator, but when i checked the back of the alternator it is charging. My problem is the engine is running rough when you accelerate and if you hit your brakes or turn your headlight switch on it will kill the engine. I hooked jumper cables up to it off my other vehicle and it seemed to clear some of the rough running up. what is my problem?
