2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trunk door unable to lock

A major factor if not the only one is the entire engine has been pulled and thus no power either. Is there a way in which I can lock the back trunk of the vehicle without power access?

you can alwys hold the positive end of battery cable and hook it back up for power. long as the other end doesn't touch anything on the car you shold be olk as well
