Hi,
I bought a GC Laredo 2001 to a lady, she told me that car was ok, I took it to my mechanic and he said that the motor sounded ok.
So i bought the car, and the very next day the oil pressure light went up, and a ticky ticky sound started on the engine. It turns out that 2 connecting rods have burned out and that the crankshaft will not be able to be rectified.
Please tell me why would something like this happen, and what is your advise on fixing it, new engine, used engine, jsut replace the deffective parts...Do you think that the woman who sold me did know about the problem?
