When car is warm gray smoke is visible from exhaust. To get it to pass a smog check I put in an additive then drove it for about an hour at highway speeds. The smoke goes away for a week or so then comes back. Would it help do a tune up as it has been a long time since new plugs? Is there a cure that you know of short of an engine overhaul if engine work is necessary? Would you please recommend a good engine shop in Virginia Beach VA if I need one?
