Not at all.
You can buy a replacement mast on ebay. Installation instructions included. It's a 5-15 minute job, depending upon where the last is broken/bent.
If you need an entirely new motor (e.g., motor doesn't turn when you turn on radio), it's a 20-30 minute job done with normal tools you'd have around the house.
