I need to get a little clarification. When you start your engine from cold, the fans come on right away? When the car is shut off, the fan should continue running for awhile, but how long does it take to shut off?

I hear the fan running as soon as the car warms up and it runs continously for about 1-2 minutes after shuting off. Also my temp needle stays at halfway.

Hello,

This will be a fault of the fan controller module or the ecm computer. Here is a wiring diagram so you can do some testing, I would think the fan module is bad it is located in the front by the radiator.

Please run some tests and get back to us so we can continue helping you.

Best, Ken

Most vehicles I work on, the fan is between the radiator and engine. The fan sucks air through the radiator and yes it blows on the engine. You would want to suck in the cooler out side air over the radiator. Just my opinion.

I haven't looked at your vehicle info, yet.
