My trailer light harness has quit working. Trailer lights don't work when hooked up to 2001 Isuzu Trooper. Lights work fine on other vehicles. Is there fuses or a relay that may have burnt out? Also the cigarette lighter quit working at the same time. Any help would be much appreciated.

If other lighting system on vehicles are working correctly, the problem lies with the connectors between vehicle and trailer. The trailer lights are connected parallel with other lighting system on vehicle.

Are all or only certain lights for trailer not working?

Al lights not working. When hooking other trailers up there is the same problem. The trailers light up when hooked to other vehicles except for the Trooper. All lighting systems on the Trooper are fine it just does not relay to the trailer when hooked up.

Has the trailer ever been used on this Trooper and did it worked?

If not, the wiring could be different at the harness. You would need a test lamp or DVOM to continue with testing.
