How to unstick my 4 wheel drive

i have a 2001 isuzu rodeo, and my 4 wheel drive is stuck, my mechanic said he needs to reset my transfer case module but i dont know where it is

This sounds like the decoder/actuator motor needs to be replaced here is a guide to help you.

Here is a diagram to help you see what you have to do to change it.

Yep that was it I found a used one and got it for $50.00 works great.
