HELP

When fuel pump is bad, you would not be able to start engine. When sending unit is bad, the fuel gauge would not work, They are both different part of the system.

There is an access cover in trunk for you to get at the fuel pump without dropping the tank.

the fuel gauge didnt work in the car to begin with. like most times you can hear the pump when you turn the key but we dont hear nothing. so would it be best to buy the whole new unit and just replace it all??

i looked in the trunk for the access cover and there is not one so do you think cause the gas tank is under the rear back seat that might be where that access cover is???

Our database indicates the acccess cover is inside trunk. Look further inside trunk and if not found, remove the rear seats to check.

After removing access cover, you can test the fuel pump and sending unit from the wireharness connector. If sending unit is bad, it would be best to replace as an assembly.
