its called a "brake switch". I guess it would be the foot brake. I have an automatic and it is hard for me to push in on the button that make it go from Park to drive. I have to struggle with it but once it is pushed in it is fine. If i hit the brake pedal a couple times with my foot, the button goes in easier for me. All i was told is that i am going to
need a brake switch. hope u know what i am talking about,,,thanks jessica
