2001 GMC Suburban ABS / Brake light on

The ABS brake light indicator comes on and stays on. At first, it was intermittently, but after a while, it stayed on all the time.
This problem has been there for over 3 years. Mechanics have given me different stories, but no definite answer.

Without knowing the exact code numbers not code descriptions and you doing some checking for me its impossible to give you a answer on that one. It code be so many different things.
