2001 GMC Jimmy: I've purchase a new keyless entry remote and it will not work for some reason? I follow the instructions to a t. I hold down the unlock button on the drivers door and turn ingition on off twice and the release the unlock button and the locks lock and unlock. But when I hold the remote and press the lock and unlock it don't work? But my gas gauge jumps up instead? What's wrong? Can you help me please?
