2001 ford Taurus ses 3.0 v6 I want to replace the water pump because there is a leak but what is the name of the part that connects to the water pump and the engine block? That's where the leak is ?

the timing cover is between the water pump and th block.

do you have the ohv or dohc motor??

I have this same issue. Is it possible for coolant to leak out of the timing cover?
