Cannot shift gear after start on N. 01 Mustang V6

I have a 2001 Mustang v6 manual. (first car switching from motorcyle)



One day i burned the clutch. I bought a Stage 3 racing clutch on Ebay and installed it myself. Me and my buddy mange to change it with the stock jack and 2 spare tires to put the car on top. Took us 3 days, best part is pushing the big ass transmission back up from under the car .

Things i did not do right in this job:

- The big metal box which covering the clutch has 1 bolt on top missing (cant reach it)

- Transmission has some fluid but not full (a guy at canadian tire give me automatic fluid said it work, i trusted him)

- I disconnect the muffler ( i love the sound with no muffler, huahuahaha)

The car ran fine, even better with sharper acceleration. I was happy. THEN



One day (yesterday) i started the car on first gear without realizing it, the car jumped then stalled. After that, i cannot shift gear after start on N. I had to shift first then start the car. The engine also died when the car stop. when the car was running i can shift from 1st to 2nd but not from 2nd to 1st. I had zero money for tow truck so i rode home somehow without gettin caught (... long story).



Do anyone knows what is wrong? Please tell me. I just jacked the car up again, get ready to fix it but have no idea where to start what to look. I may have to take the transmission out again .



btw i have a heavy duty mustang 01 clutch cable in hand
