2001 Ford Focus PO766

Care is not shifting properly. I pulled the code and it showed PO766 Shift Solenoid D Ckt Performance or stuck off. I called Ford Parts and they said they only show A,B and C and an On/off solenoid and an EPC. Which one is the D? I'm thinking the on/off but I'm not sure

have a pro test this as it can be a bad pcm causing this . also test resistance at pin 9 on trans if it reads 1.0-4.2 Ohms then the solenoid is ok and it's proably a hydraulic or mechanical failure in trans or bad pcm
