2001 ford focus. where is plug to have diagnostic done? i think its supposed to be under dash somewhere on driver side.

Mitchell repair data says under left side of dash on central junction block, saying that it seems like I remeber there being a plastic cover built in the lower part of dash on drivers side that needs to be removed to access the DLC connector.
