did cyl head recon.installed head nd other parts .engine starts up easily but revs at a 1000 revs then shoots up to 2000+ at about 4 second intervilles.does it all the time

try cleaning throttle plate on both sides and iac hole, check for a vacuum leak then drive above 40 mph for about a mile see if it fixs it. also make sure all grommets and duct work is connected.
