I did ask for the wiring diagram. I should have been more specific. The clock spring appears to be working I have continuity from one end to the other without overlap. The horn does not work, steering wheel eatc control does not work and the cruise control does not work but the airbag is working. I am thinking there is maybe an input to the clock spring that is bad. Any idea what I might be missing? all the fuses are good. Do you have a pin out to the clock spring diagram?

Thanks for the response but apparently it's not the diagram for my car. I have a Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 2001. I have attached picture of the clock spring connector and the door panel with the VIN number. I have found out that the common ground for the horn and the cruise control does not have ground. There is no resistance from the clock spring to where it connects under the dash. The diagram T8 check circuit the amo842-a where it shows a wire connection to check between it and the speed control module should be grounded but there is no ground. Would that imply that the speed control module is bad? Would that also affect the climate control?

From the tests I've run it looks like the speed control module may be bad. Where is that located on my vehicle? I've tried researching but cannot find that answer.

Thanks for all the help. I found the problem the cable to the speed control was disconnected in a previous repair on the blower fan. Duh!!! Thanks for all the help. I will probably need it in the future on clock spring diagnosis and speed control. Again many thanks.
