I had a bad leak, so I decided to change the pump. The pump taken out seemed ok, I put everything back and no leaks. I put correct oil anf new filter, new antifreeze(had to remove hoses to gain access). When I started the engine, the oil pressure light came and stayed on. Then also the oil gauge is beyond empty.
My question is this. what could be the problem?. Is it simple sensor or was I supposed to do something to get the new pump to work( I did prime it). I am an electrician whom needs to drive to sites to work. no work, no pay. Can you help. Thank You.
