you need to replace that pump!! if you dont, and you allow motor to get to hot it will cause major engine failure. Cracked heads, seized bearings, also water pump bearing will fail and possible shaft failure which will allow fan to wobble possibly making contact with radiator, other parts which results in further damage and expense $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ how much can you spare? fix the pump!!! its the least expense

I'm sorry i thought it was a trk. WARNING!!!! DO NOT LET THAT ENGINE OVERHEAT!!!!!! You will ruin the aluminum heads!! Also it is possible that the pump shaft could fail causing the chain or belt to malfunction resulting in timing failure which results in cyl head (valve ) damage. Pump is cheaper than the other damages that could occur by hundreds of $$$$$s

okay, sometimes the hose produce pin holes and they usually occur near the gooseneck and housing areas, clamp area. can you see where when the car is running under normal temp? its possible that the hose is long enough to possibly cut a inch off and still be able to use. Maybe a pieco of the housing gasket failed and it spitting out a stream under pressure. It really has to be a visual inspection to confirm any solution. get a rag wipe area if cant reach try from under car, remove items till you can get to it for inspection, it has to be fixed anyways, unless you havent the proper equipment or facility then ther is no chice but to take it in somewhere. But let me say, if you let it go it will fail and leave you so helplessly stranded possibly in financial ruin. best of success

Replace the waterpump and all leaks. Overheating the engine can cause permenant internal damage to the engine.
