I have 2001 ram v10 488ci stock cam has intake lift of 390 and exhaust lift of 407
The specs for an after market cam are intake duration 288 lift at.477 exhaust duration at 277 lift at 504 that is with 1.6 rocker arm ratio. This is a drop in cam . My question is the truck has after market 1.7 rockers which I believe would raise the intake lift to 506 and exhaust lift to 535 . That's if I did the math correct . I need to know the max piston to valve clearance on the 488ci engine . I am not worried about the engine computer etc because it will be getting tuned
