How to remove the shift knob 5 speed transmission.

I tried to losses it clock wise but won't work, I don't know to remove it.

if it lossens, counter clockwise is the way.

i believe you have to remove the rubber boot at the bottom of the shifter and unbolt it from the top of the trans
