I have a 2001 Chrysler LHS. This summer on a rainy day the transmission would downshift into low and then back into drive at freeway speeds. The next day when the weather was dry it would be fine. It has performed well for several months and now it is started again and this time it will not shift into drive at all. When at idle the engine surges going from normal to high rpm.

have the ecm checked for gettting wet and acting up like that, especially if it's ok on dry days.
