Can I replace the 2001 Chrysler 300m radio/cassette player with the radio/cd player for the same year

I have a radio/cassette +equalizer with a separate 4 Disc CD player that's shot. I've replaced the separate CD player twice but there are used radios +equalizers available with the built-in single CD player instead of the cassette from the same year that look nearly identical. Is this a direct replacement or are there wiring issues. Thank you.
