I have a engine check light P0122, which is the throttle/ pedal position sensor/stiwch a circuit low.
I had checked the connector and are reading what it should be. And also checked the sensor of TPS. But the check light come back again. I noticed the throttle cable the one that comes from the pedal is loose. I don’t know if that can cause the problem of the check engine light on. The way that I check I disconnected the connector turn the car "on" position touch the positive battery terminal with my DMM and the black wire on the connector and was reading 12.00 volts. Then the negative DMM on the good ground and touch the gray wire and got of 5.2 volt. Then turn off the car. Connected the connector and turn the car on position put my DMM on the ground and touch the green wire was reading 0.5 volts open the throttle slowing and the volts was increase slowly and did it like 3 times never got a jump or wear reading and erase the code with my scanner the next day the engine code came back. Any help with this issue!

Updated. if I reset my PMC on my truck will that fix the issue as well? I was reading that something the PMC resetting will fix the when there is not an actual problem and it is a ghost code!

I have a 97 chevy c1500 that shut down without warning as I was driving down the road. I have changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, and after buying an obd II diagnostic computer, I have replaced the throttle position sensor. Still won't start, I don't get any codes now after I cleared them, but it was p0122 throttle/pedal position sensor/switch a circuit low. Did I need to replace throttle position sensor? And what next? I'm out of ideas!

I keep getting a PO122 code when my truck is scanned. I tested the throttle position sensor with a volt meter and according to my Haynes manual I'm getting the correct voltage. I also checked the operation of it and that was correct and increased when the throttle opened. So my question is where do I go from here?

WHAT did you get for readings? Fault codes will set for intermittent problems too. It may not be there when you're doing the testing. What are the symptoms?
