Where the engine and tranny meet. On the underside there is a metallic "plug" that has engine oil leaking out of it. It's located between the oil pan and the tanny oil pan. is this the rear engine seal leaking

Could be an oil plug or the rear seal of the crankshaft-double check

could it something as simple as an oil plug. It's either that or could it be a viewing or access port. I wouldn't think a rear seal would leak as bad as this does. It suddenly started to leak. Not a small one that worse. Went from no drip to a pretty heavy flow. With motor running it pours out heavy right onto the exhaust

If its leaking behind the engine you need to remove the transmission to identify where its actually leaking at

do you reconize the plug I am refering to? It's motor oil for sure. If it is a rear seal is a motor with this kind of high miles worth doing that major of a repair to. Also would a bad seal leak so suddenly and at such a high flow rate? Should I attempt to remove the "plug". Do you know where I could get some sort of diagram or parts picture of this area of the truck to identify exactly what I am looking at? Thanks again
