Handbreak light will not go.

Handbreak light will not go off? stays light up, somtimes beeps and goes off but then comes right back on, , the hadbreak works, if i push it on the light stays light up on or off

red light indicates hand brake on, hyraulic failure in the system or abs issue.

is the yellow abs light on as well.

Yes abs light is on aswell. but i got a new engine, put in and thats when the handbreak light came on, it works and everything just the light wont go off.

ok, you need to see what is going on with the abs. have the code pulled and get back to us with the number.

by the way, I forgot to tell you another reason is the low fluid level switch in the master.

How do i check the fluid in level switch in the masters? n my abs lights are on most likly cuz my sensors are all gone

dont assume anything with the abs till you know the code.

the float moves up and down and when is down low enough, it will turn on the light.

you still need to address the abs before the light will go out.

But why wasnt it on before i got my new enegine? it was never up til i got that engine put it, n i got new breaks in front and back everything new

new brakes have no effect on the light unless there was damage done to one of the sensors during the job.

i cant answer why as i did not do the job, someone else did it.

no matter what, you need the code pulled so we can further help you.

check the other items as well.

Check the brake fluid level in master cylinder first. Unplug the fluid level seneor to test if necessary.
