lumina 2001 autodrive, idel surges after engine warm-up while in park or neutral only. fine while engage in gear.

Check the idle air control valve (IAC). Its job is to maintain a steady idle. It is located on the throttle body.

Thanks for your prompt repley, but the problem could not be fixed I change the (IAC)coil. And cleaned the throtle body for carbon deposit, even I have the same problem. Your ans really appreciated.
