Power the fuel pump from the battery to the fuel pump wiring connector and see what happens

Did you check for power and ground when you were at the fuel pump connector, and possibly even look at the connector itself for terminal or heat damage?

Injectors are not controlled through power. They get a pulsing ground signal and you need to use a noid light to test that.

What ground source did you use to determine power to the pump, the circuit ground. Have you load tested the ground circuit?
