I just bought my car, used, two months ago and two days ago, it started to give off this high-pitched ringing noise when I turn my car on and when I turn it off. The noise lasts about 20, 30 seconds at most and seems to be coming from the front of my car, but I can't tell where and neither could my dad when he looked at it. There are no warning lights, nothing that tells me something is wrong with my car. I thought it had to do with lights, because the noise started when I turned the car off and switched off my headlights (after the typical warning beeps that you normally get if you forget to turn off your lights). Turning the lights back on and off, with my car on, didn't stop it. Anyone have any ideas?
