So which solenoid are you trying to replace? The code P1870 is transmission component slipping its not a certain solenoid related to the code.So you got confused here on what your asking?Did someone diagnose the problem and tell you to replace a certain solenoid?

Ok i took a wild guess and figure you ordered the solenoid from auto zone i found that part number. It says its 2-3 shift solenoid so hopefully thats the problem and you had it diagnosed by somebody.

The 2-3 solenoid has a red wire and a yellow wire going to it.So whats up with the circled input and output speed sensors?Who told you to change that solenoid?

There is a U clip you remove and the solenoid should slide right out.Its pretty straight forward then lube the orings on the new one slide it in and push it all the way in and slide clip back in.Of course you have to unplug the old one and plug the new one in.
