How dobyou remove the front ball on the motor side shifter cable is it just a pull up to remove I don't want to break the cable,

cbrxx1100 - "That great but I still don't know how to get it off do you just pull it up? How does it come off I took the clips off the back bracket its the front firewall one I'm not sure how it come off"

pull It up or take a screwdriver to pop the cable up from the lever.
