Lost interior lights Fuse box diagram needed

fuses are under rear seat for these that is where you should have checked. otherwise have it scanned to see if another module is bad.also check trunk/fuel door relays

Thanks.....I checked under seat and under hood fuse statiom]ns and checked most of the fuses that are liked to the individual failures and all that I checked are fine.

Since all failed simultaneously it would seem it couldn't be an individual fuse since likely not linked to others.

Failing simultaneously were:

* Fuel Door Release
* Electric Door Locks
* Auto Lock Associated with transmission engagement
* Interior Lights
* Electric Tunk Release

Question is how and where are all these tied together?

actually the door locks and windows are linked together with the same fuses. but you also need this scanned for other problem.s. auto lock may be a trans problem but it needs scanning. everything yu describe goes through the rear fuse box under the seat. take a test light nd see if the fuses have power if not then you have lost power to the rear box if it has its' ablack wire that goes to battery on positive side.

Under seat box has 66 elements (some unused). Of these most must be working fsince car and many rear box fused functions are operating (HVAC, HVAC Blower, Fuel Pump, Power Windows, Audio, Audio Amplifier. Car runs fine.

I mapped out which elements seem not to be working on the fuse diagram and all appear to be in clustered in one physical location (all adjacent to each other). Thw major ones are all Micro Relays.

Since it appears that some of the systems fused at the rear box are working, I assume that the main power lead is not the issue.

What is a "Test Light". This a volt/amp meter?

Do you think stopping by an Auto Zone or elsewhere could help or should I just give up and go to a Caddilac dealer ?

any repair shop should be able to scan it not only adealer. they are cheaper as well if some of the fuses are getting powr then it may be a bad box. a test light is just that it has a probe on one end and the other you connect to ground. if there is power where you probe it lights up.

I spoke with a Cadillac dealership service manager and described the symptoms my car was experiencing.

He believed that it sounded like the "rear integration module" and encouraged me to check it out. He suggested if I was unsuccessful, I should bring it in.

Do you know where this is located and if it is something that can be replaced fairly easily if I were to buy the part myself?

The pic was very clear but I'm not sure I understand the macro location. Is that behind the backrest of the rear seat? If so, is that easy to remove?

When you say it has to be scanned, How is that done and who can do it?

Is there a description of how to get to it, remove it or check it?

see if ther eis a panel in the trunk covering that it's probably accessible that way if not the seat will have to come out.
