My car has been sitting in the heat for about 5 months. Yesterday I replaced two tires and the battery in it. Right after I turned my car on, less than a minute, smoke started coming out of the engine and the engine was extremely hot. I'm pretty sure it was white ( it was dark outside) and it had a burnt smell to it. Also I have not changed any of the fluids since the car has not been in use.

do yourself a favor and have it pressure checked for a head gasket leak. it may be ahose broken or something similar but the burnt smell may mean antifreeze or oil has got on exhaust someplace. especially seeing the smoke. If you can start it in daylight check around compartment for anything burnt up and check all your fluids prior to starting. If you see any low that will be a hint. the V6'sof that era had bad intake and head gaskets which has since been corrected.
