i replaced the engine on my x5 after that last one overheated. my new engine will turn over but will not start i have fuel pressure butt no spark. I have checked all the fuses and all of my plug ins they are all connected and all fuses are good in both glove box panel and rear panel. I used all sensors that came with used engine but the engine did run fine in the car i took it out of. my question is could i have left a ground wire lose some where that would cause computer to not send signal to coils or anything else. I am down to thinking it is crank position sensor but highly doubt it seeing as it worked fine in car it came out of.
