Car does not want to idle

My 325ci 2001 Model does not want to idle. What is the cause of this. This happend after driving through water and it coverd the engine.

Water on the engine could be inside the spark plug wells and causing no idle condition. Remove top cover and inspect the coils and plugs.

We've checked that and that does not seem to be the problem.
