2001 BMW 325 to whom it may concern

It depends on what kind of glove box you have. Some are electric with a small motor that unlocks the glove box and some are mechanical. If its electric you'll need to disassemble the glove box and see if the small motor is getting power and ground to the switch and motor. If its mechanical there may be something disconnected or broken preventing the glove box from opening. Make sure the valet lock is in the off position with the key in the glove box.
