How do i adjust my shift so it will engage?

Replaced a clutch on a 2001 S4 Audi, put everything back together, engine turns over but the car only has reverse. Not sure if i didnt space something right or what, just need to narrow it down so i dont have to rip the whole car apart again.

Help, im a poor soldier trying to fix his own problems

System hydraulic no adjustment. can adj. pedal freeplay see diagram gap 0.126 (3.2mm) will trans go into gears engine off? does it grind when attempting first? was pressure plate and bearing replaced? bleed system?

pressure plate, bearing and fly wheel were replaced. Clutch did not need to be bled, any suggestions?

What happens if put in first engine off then attempt to start?
