for the past week my car has been leaking a lot of oil and sometimes when i make a turn or going up a hill or simply driving it feels like something is rattling under my car but when i let the gas go the car stops making the rattling sound. could my oil filter be loose and falling off?

The rattle if an engine noise may well be oil related, you will have top get the engine cleaned down and the oil level corrected, have the leaks inspected, you will have to get the car on a hoist to get a good view under the car, you mechanic can do this for you?
