AC fail and Fuel consumption

The catalytic converter would cause the engine to run poorly, loss of power, lower fuel economy... However, you will notice a power loss. As far as the AC, have him check the cycle switch.

Thanks are you of the opinion that I change the catalyst because the AC technician says this must be change for the Engine heat to reduce, so that the Ac will work.
For the loss of power I really do not notice that but the fuel consumption is very high. I finish full tank in just four days, while I don’t go more than 40mph in a day.

Before replacing the converter, they can check to make sure it is bad. One thing you can do is this. Drive the vehicle, park and let it running. With the vehicle still running, in park, and the parking brake on, look at the converter. If it is plugged, often times it will get so hot it will glow red hot. Other than that, the converter should be checked for back pressure. A good mechanic (won't guess) but rather check to make sure there is a restriction in the converter before replacing it. They check the back pressure by removing the O2 sensors and checking from there.

It could be a TCC solenoid, shift solenoid, engine idle speed...

Pls what is the solution to this.

You have a sensor issue involving the fuel sensor on bank 1

Does this means I should change it or the Mechanic should check.

I would recommend a mechanic check the sensor before throwing money at it. That seems to be where the problem is coming from.

What are the steps to check this. I want to have an Idea so as to be on top of things when the mechanic is running the Test.

Meanwhile, the AC issue is been rectified. the Radiator was cleaned up (coolant removed and new one added,the pipe checked to detected leakages, Gas refill) and is working fine.

I will be going back for the fuel issue this weekend.I will be expecting your response on the initial questions.
