loud noise coming from under the car which started all of a sudden with no symptoms of a fault, my first thought was the exhaust had fell off as there was a metal rattling sound or the exhaust was dragging off the ground. i checked and exhaust has not dropped at all could this be the cat convertor or a heat plate loose?
