the check engine light came on in my car and the computer said it was the knock sensor so i replace it for a brand new knock sensor but still after i replace it the check engine light is still on and is still having the same code and telling me knock sensor is the problem or a poor conection and what would be the best way to make sure is the sensor or the conection?

Pull your negative battery cable and let the car sit for a bit (5 min or so) and the car's ECM will reset itself and your CEL should go away.
