Our Seat Cordoba Estate developed a problem. When you turn it on from cold and rev the throttle, it revs for a while then the throttle pedal stops working and the engine idles. After this, even when turning on and off, the throttle will not do anything.
A reader on the car said it was "Throttle Position Sensor not Viable" In your experience is this likely to be the Potentiometer attached to the throttle pedal, the throttle sensor on the throttle or something else?
I am starting to think that due to it depending on the temperature of the engine if the throttle works or not, it is likely to be a sensor under the bonnet rather than in the pedal footwell. Any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated, if you think it is this or could be something else, please let me know!
