po107 code on 2000 saturn sl sohc motor

2000 saturn sl sohc motor,po107 code ,idels runs really rough whole motor shakes around wants to stall smells like fresh gas ect.sucks and sputters out tail pipe , runs pretty good above 2000 rpm or road speed .thought it was map sensor but i put 3 different known to work ones on no change .i done a volt test from repair manual said grey wire to ground got 5.0 volts then it said b to c wires test on the same connector 5.0 volts also i don't have vacuum equipment or other testers to work with .what is it where is it how do i fix it . thanks steven m. minnesota .

If you have 5 volts to the grey wire to the sensor and 5 volts between b and c terminals then you need to do the step you skip.The first step for that trouble tree for that code.Get a scan tool that shows engine live data and with key in the run position engine off and the sensor plugged in see if the map sensor reads less then .2 volts let me know what you find.

0n the 2000 saturn sl with the po-107 code. it was a piece of carbone caught in the small opening, the little plunger part was stuck open holding it open on the egr valve making it run horrible wouldnt stay running sucking sputtering in tail pipe ect. i thought it was the intake manifold gasket myself ,i decided to check the car one more time with scanner,got a egr code po-440 i think, so i pulled it off problem solved .

I was going to say with a stuck egr pintle causing a vacuum leak you would have a egr code and that could also set a map code.Glad to hear though got it fixed though.
