I had my back window of my Saturn SL1 broken.
So I am wondering if it is a big job to change it by myself and how or to give it to a garage. As well as, it would be great if I can get some idea of prices...
Thank you

I need to know if it's the stationary glass or the one that goes up and down?

It is the window straight back, not at the doors. It is stationary ...

So the big back window with your rear window defogger grid on it?If that's the case i would have a glass installer put that in.I would get a used one to put in.You can try a pick a part or a car recyler a new glass would be expensive.

Saturntech9,
Thank you for the answer.
Well, I've found one for 130 $ and at another place a shop that will do the job plus the price of the window for 700 ...
So I prefer to do it by myself. (so I can brake up to 4 glasses within that price :) ...)
And there is my next question: is there something I should know, any additional accessories I have to buy and special tools, like suction cups for exsample, that I am going to need.
Thank you

Get the window for 130 and call around and have a glass shop put it in it shouldn't cost you more then 100 and some change to install it.I have never replaced one of those window's nor would i there is more to think about then breaking it.Like leaking not centering correctly. Please take my advice and have someone do it.Get the glass and call around that other place you called was too high.
