2000 Sunfire Pontiac 2.2 Engine
Was driving down the road and the car made a sound (almost like rubber on rubber) and started to slow down. I tried to accelerate and it would not let me. So I pulled over. The oil and the battery light came on and I noticed smoke coming from under my hood. Parked the car and shut it off and check under the hood. The oil dipstick was smoking. After the smoking stopped I Went to start the car and it won't turn over. It makes this clicking sound. Noticed a fluid on the ground under the car that looked like oil but my oil is full. What is wrong with my car? I need advice and answers ASAP
Side Note: My power steering got stiff around Feb. Checked fluid and it was good. Checked transmission fluid and it was low so added some. Had a new oil change with new filters. It made the power steering slightly less stiff. Then one day (recently) the power steering was just back to normal. A couple days latter this incident happened.
