2000 Pontiac Grand Prix Control Arm Bushing

I may have figured it out with another picture I found although I'm not totally sure until I get to look at mine when I get to my garage. If they would show more of the control arm in the pictures I found, it would be easier to figure out. In the picture you submitted, my question is are there 2 holes in the arm (a D-shaped one and a triangle-shaped one) or is the triangle eluding to a change in the contour of the arm? My CA has an oval hole on one side near where the picture shows a triangle. If my dealer has a CA on stock, I may be able to confirm the correct alignment. Just to note, the right and left CAs are identical (not mirror images), the only thing that makes them different is the sway bar link mount.

I have figured this out. The bushing is originally installed from the bottom of the driver's side and the top of the passenger side control arms. The pictured shown above shows marking the flat spot before removing the bushing but it shows it in the wrong place. The picture I have attached is the one in GM's manual and correctly shows where the flat should be which basically aligns the solid part of the bushing in direct relation to the angle that the balljoint is from it. This makes sense with its effect on handling and the whole geometry of the front suspension.
